		<description>While I see that a plan does (can) provide you some internal planning to help guide you - I would have to say I see many businesses spending a ton of time writing plans instead of making money. Fact is, if you want financing - show you can make a buck. Investors will invest in a company who has a track record of making money - even if they do not have a plan. (Plans are easy to write - making money is harder.)

The problem a lot of first time entrepreneurs have is they see the wisdom you offer, and instead of going off and starting a business - they instead write plans - sometimes for months. For most it is a waste of time.</description>
