I am an employer and I don't think it's a bummer that I can't get away with not giving my employees their full rights. If you want good employees and you do actually value the work that they do, pay them as well as you can and give them good conditions. This post implies that all employers would rather higher independent contractors so that they have no obligation under the law. This is wrong and also immoral.
